Development in the curriculum
An activity generating unit level curriculum in education or the process of linking one with the other components to produce curriculum. Curriculum development can also be interpreted as the drafting, implementation, assessment and curriculum improvement.
In its development, the curriculum involves various parties, especially parties - parties that directly or indirectly have an interest in the existence of education designed, starting from education experts, a field of study, teachers, students, education officials, practitioners and role models or members other communities.

The principles of curriculum development
Principles - principles that must be considered in the development of the curriculum:
a. The principle of relevance
Is the closeness of the relationship. When linked with the education community should be aligned so that the educational results obtained will be useful for learners in community life.
b. The principle of flexibility
Curriculum developed must have a space that gives freedom to act. In this case relates to flexibility in choosing educational programs and flexibility in the development of learning programs.
c. The principle of efficiency
This principle is related to the effort, cost, time and energy used in the learning process and the process can produce optimal learning results. Thus, in the development of the curriculum should be efficient.
d. The principle of effectiveness
Is the extent to which the curriculum planning can be achieved in accordance with the wishes that have been determined. The effectiveness of the curriculum deals with the teaching of educators, learners and the learning process.
e. The principle of continuity
This principle in the development of curriculum shows the relationship between the level of education, type and education programs as well as fields of study.
f. The principle of goal-oriented
Principle asserts that the goal is a direction for the development of components - other components in curriculum development. To that end, tujua curriculum should be clear, that is to say the purpose of the curriculum should be clearly understood by implementing a curriculum for other purposes which are translated into more specific and operational. Curriculum objectives should also be a comprehensive, meaning that cover various aspects.
